The WNCX Morning Show were joined by legendary voice actor, Billy West. Billy is best known for his voice roles as “Ren & Stimpy”, as well as voicework on “Futurama” and The Howard Stern Show.
Billy called in to talk about his work on the new the movie, “Futurama: Bender’s Game”, which is the third of the four planned Futurama films and is in stores now. Billy talked all about his work over the years and some of what the future holds.
The WNCX Morning Show took a call from guitarist, singer and composer Rik Emmett of the Canadian trio Triumph, this morning. Rik is coming in to do an accoustic show at The Winchester in Lakewood and so he called in to talk about it and what he’s been up to, aye.
Rik, who is a highly accomplished and acclaimed guitarist, also talked about his days in Triumph - and about the highly anticipated reunion of the classic trio lineup, due to happen in 2009.
ESPN SportsCenter Anchor/Feature Reporter/Horse Racing Host, Kenny Mayne called in to the WNCX Morning Show this morning to talk about the the debut of his new ESPN.com show, “Mayne Street” which debuts on Tuesday, November 11.
Need we say more? The WNCX Morning Show welcomed author Daniel Maurer to the show, to talk about — well… “dude talk”.
Daniel is the author of “Brocabulary: The New Man-I-Festo of Dude Talk”. In what was a truly funny look at how the man thinks and speaks, Daniel offered up many items from his extensive manifesto… much to the chagrin of Kim Mihalik.
Peter stopped in for an early tailgating party in the WNCX studios. Complete with the cooking up of some tasty Raven burgers to get the group pumped up for this Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. Peter talked about the party that happens before every home Browns game.
Cleveland sure knows how to party before the big game!

The WNCX Morning Show welcomed Western Reserve Paranormal to the studio this morning for our Halloween morning broadcast. Evie, Natasha and Bill stopped in talk all about ghosts, paranormal activities and all that their group does.
A perfect topic for this Halloween, the group talked about personal experiences, well known events and fielded calls from listeners calling in with their own stories from beyond… including describing the ghosts that were in the radio studios at the current time.
Putting the room at ease, Evie cleared the studio of two ghosts that had made their way in to the studios. “Ed” and “George” had been wandering the Halle Building for some time, so Evie helped them cross over to the other side. It was a creepy morning, to say the least.
Cheech & Chong called in to talk about the tour, about getting back together, about some of the old days plus some of the other things going on with them now — and upcoming.
Jeff has written several books about ghosts and hauntings, but this is his first childrens book, aimed at kids 9 and up. To go along with the book, Jeff has launched an entirely new section on his website, just for kids! An Internet resource specifically designed for kids, parents, and educators on how to broach the subject of ghosts — offering a guide to Junior Ghost Hunters as well as a section to help parents who may be dealing with a haunting and small children under the same roof.
George called in to talk about the book, the man and his legacy in football in Ohio. From his beginnings in Massillon-Washington High School, to The Ohio State University to the Cleveland Browns and on to Cincinnati. George Cantor tracked Paul Brown’s career and gives details on why Brown is one of the greatest coaches to every play the game.
The WNCX Morning Show were honored to be joined by legendary Cleveland photographer, George Shuba. If it happened in rock & roll in Cleveland in the 60’s and 70’s, then the odds are that George was there photographing it.
George stopped in to talk about the early days of capturing those memorable moments on film, plus to tell the behind the scenes stories of meeting some of the greatest musicians and bands of all time - and exactly what Cleveland meant to many of those bands at that time. George also is promoting an exhibit of his photo’s that is opening at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. Check out what George had to say about being a part of Cleveland history.
Jim will be joined on stage tonight by comedian Joe Howard and local rockers, the “River City Rebels”, for a benefit for suicide prevention. The show starts at 7PM sharp, with all proceeds benefiting the “For the Love of Pits” and “Love A Stray” Foundations.

The two stopped in to talk about their new release, “The Dead Matter: Cemetery Gates” and the history behind Midnight Syndicate — in their rise to the top of the “haunted attractions” industry.
