The WNCX Morning Show were excited to be joined in studio by Ed Douglas and Chris Robichaud this morning. Ed is behind the highly successful Cleveland-based gothic-themed group, Midnight Syndicate. Ed is also the producer/director behind the soon to be released film, “The Dead Matter”, which is premiering this Saturday night in Cleveland, Ohio.
With local comedian Joe Howard sitting in with Scott & Jeff this morning - Ed and Chris filled the crew in on the latest with the coming wide release of the film, which stars Andrew Divoff, Jason Carter and Tom Savini (as well as a small roll by our Executive Producer Dave Jockers as a Zombie extra). The premier will be a red carpet, star-studded event with the cast and crew from the film, at Tower City Theaters and an afterparty at Tower 230.
The WNCX Morning Show caught up with Ron Carlson, the Director of the upcoming film - “Midgets vs Mascots” - which premiers at the Tribeca Film Festival in late April.

Director Ron Carlson filled the crew in on the story behind the film, including some real stories of what it was like working with Gary Coleman.
The WNCX Morning Show were joined by legendary voice actor, Billy West. Billy is best known for his voice roles as “Ren & Stimpy”, as well as voicework on “Futurama” and The Howard Stern Show.
Billy called in to talk about his work on the new the movie, “Futurama: Bender’s Game”, which is the third of the four planned Futurama films and is in stores now. Billy talked all about his work over the years and some of what the future holds.

David is a native of Westlake, Ohio and has been seen in many TV shows, including “The Unit” on CBS, as well as an upcoming episode of “CSI”. David stopped by to reminisce about growing up in Cleveland and talk about the Hollywood scene — as well as his role of Eric Doyle on Heroes.
The WNCX Morning Show with Miller, Mihalik and Mike, caught up with Dennis Haysbert today. Dennis currently plays the part of Jonas Blane, on the CBS TV series, “The Unit”. Dennis is best known for his portrayal of President David Palmer on the FOX series “24”. However, most Clevelanders will better remember him for his part in Major League as Pedro Cerrano or in Allstate commercials. Dennis called in to promote the season premier of The Unit, this Sunday on CBS 19 at 10PM, as well as his connection to Presidential candidate, Barack Obama.
